刘绍臣博士,教授,污染生态学专业博士生导师,环境科学专业和环境工程专业硕士生导师,大气化学与气候变迁团队的学术带头人。世界科学院院士、美国地球物理协会(AGU)会士,美国物理协会成员,ISI高引用学者,National Science Review(国家科学评论)期刊编辑。曾3次获得美国国家海洋和大气管理局(NOAA)杰出论文奖。曾兼任Journal of Geophysical Research (Atmospheres)期刊主编,国际地球大气化学(IGAC)共同主席,国际大地测量地球物理学联合会中华台北委员会主席,国际科学理事会中华台北执行秘书,国家气候中心顾问等。
