报告人简介：

        Prof.Hai Guo is a professor in the Department of Civil and EnvironmentalEngineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received his B.Sc. degreein Physical Chemistry from Wuhan University, M.Sc. degree in EnvironmentalChemistry from Wuhan University, and Ph.D. degree in Air Quality Research fromMurdoch University, Australia. He did his postdoctoral research in severalfamous groups including the Nobel Laureate Sherwood Rowland’s group atUniversity of California at Irvine, and Morton Lippmann/Beverly Cohen’s groupat New York University.

         Prof. Guo’s researchinterests include atmospheric chemistry, regional photochemical pollution,acidic ultrafine particles and organic aerosols. He has published more than 120papers in high-quality international journals, and his current SCI h-index is34. Prof. Guo is an investigator of morethan 45 highly competitive external research projects with grants over 60million Hong Kong dollars. He has won many prizesincluding a second prize of natural science issued by Ministry of Education, afirst prize of science and technology in Guangdong province, second and thirdprizes of environmental pollution in Guangzhou, four times Dean’s awards foroutstanding research achievement, a Dean’s award for excellent publicationachievement, and the Faculty Award for Outstanding Performance/Achievement inResearch & Scholarly Activities in Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

         Professor Guo is the ExecutiveMember of the Australia-China Centre for Air Quality Science and Management,and the Standing Member of the Ozone Pollution Control Professional Committeeof the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences. He is currently an Editor for Aerosol and Air Quality Research (AAQR) and an editorial board member of AtmosphericEnvironment (AE) and Atmosphere.Prof. GUO has given keynote and invited speech in a number of internationalconferences and been a member of Scientific Advisor Committee in variousconferences.
